3+ carpool registrations are valid for twelve months. Reminders to renew your registrations with SFCS will be sent to carpool participants via email. If registrations are not renewed, participants will be placed in “inactive status” and SunPass® will be notified to remove their vehicle from the toll-exempt list.
Hybrid/Electric Vehicle Registration for 95 Express
Hybrid/electric vehicle owners who wish to register for the 95 Express toll- free program must FIRST have a valid Florida HOV decal, issued by the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV). For more information on qualifying vehicles and obtaining an HOV decal, please visit https://www.flhsmv.gov/.
After obtaining the Florida HOV decal, hybrid/electric vehicle owners who want to use the 95 Express toll-free lanes must then complete a 95 Express registration form. Qualified registrants will receive a 95 Express decal to be placed on the front windshield of their vehicle. The 95 Express decal is in addition to the Florida HOV decal.
Hybrid/electric vehicle owners will receive a yearly renewal notice for the 95 Express decal based on the anniversary of their initial registration. Registrants will receive reminder notices to renew their registration with SFCS via email. If a registration expires without renewal, SFCS will notify SunPass® and deactivate the user’s profile.
